As pastor of Valley Baptist Church, I have the great privledge to lead the church in our mission of preparing people to meet Jesus. I often use the phrase, "God loves you the way you are, but has no intention of keeping you that way!" At Valley you will be assured of God's love for you. This love has been forever expressed through the suffering and death of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus suffered and died so you could have forgiveness and have victory over sin.

At Valley you will have the opportunity to:

We are the Preschool directors at Valley. We have been married many years and have four

children ranging from elementary to high school. We love children of all ages and love to

teach them God's love and grace.

Our vision for the preschool families at Valley is to:

Prepare preschoolers to move up to children's group and ultimately, prepare them to meet Jesus
Teach them that God loves them and has a plan for their life
Reach out to families with young children and show them God's love

How would we do that? We have teachers and helpers who love God, teaching them and loving

them. Our key verse for preschool is 3 John 4 "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children

are walking in the truth." We help families lay the foundation of who God is and that His Son came

to earth to save us from our sin.

I was blessed to grow up in a Christian family where I heard the gospel regularly and professed faith in Christ at a young age. After feeling called to ministry while a student at UW-Eau Claire, and serving on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ in San Antonio, Texas, I developed a passion for the local church leading to seminary and pastoral ministry.

I've been the Associate Pastor of Family Ministries at Valley Baptist Church since 2019. Prior to that I pastored a church in Texas. I married my wife Colleen in 2007 and we have five children.

Kim joined us in June of 2017. She had been involved at Valley through biblical counseling, multiple bible studies and Women's Ministry events such as Women's retreat for the past several years. If you have contacted church recently, you have probably talked to Kim. You will find her working behind the scenes keeping Valley running smoothly.

Kim joined us with an extensive background in business operations and office management. Kim lives in Greenville and is married to Dave. They have three dogs and three adult children. When not in the office, you can find Kim running outside, walking her dogs or spending time in their home reading and relaxing with her family.
