Valley Baptist's Women of the Word Ministry Team is devoted to helping women live out the Gospel through their God-given design and purpose. Our passion is to see women grow in knowing and living out the Word of God through Biblical study, special events, mentoring, and serving others in the love of Christ.

Women's Fall Bible Study

Do you want to grow in knowing Jesus? Join us on a verse by verse journey through the Gospel of Mark. Together we will learn what Jesus did, what He taught His disciples, and how we are to live as a result. Daily homework (about 30-40 minutes, 5 days per week) will prepare us for weekly class discussion on Zoom. Our discussion time will help us understand and apply what we are learning, and will bless us with fellowship as we learn together.


This exciting 11 week study is Part 1 of the Son of God study and covers Mark 1:1-9:13. Part 2 will be offered beginning in January 2021 and will cover the remainder of the Gospel of Mark.


There will be two days and times offered:


  • Tuesdays 6:30-8:30 pm September 15- December 8

Led by Katie Land and Paula Weber


  • Thursdays 9:00-11:00 am September 17- December 10

Led by Christina Warne


Books are available in the Church office.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

PACKING PARTY 10:00 AM

Join us for a brief orientation at 10 am & then the packing will begin! We will pack until we are finished, so pack a lunch & drinks for yourself. To attend alone, we ask that you are 6th grade & up. If you plan to attend with children younger than this, please plan to have them stay with you the entire time you are here & pack together. CHRISTMAS DECORATING

9:30 AM

Please come and help decorate the church for Christmas.  What a wonderful time to bring joy and brighten up our church home!  No need to RSVP,  just show up at 9:30 a.m. with great cheer as we enter the season of celebration for the birth of Jesus Christ.
