This class will not only encourage personal devotion to God and His Word and communicate Biblical principals for unique life experiences, but will also be a place of fellowship and belonging in the family of God here at Valley Baptist Church.

It equips people to understand how faith impacts their families, their careers, and their struggles. And all the while challenging them to live out their faith, right where they are, right as they are.

STRIDE GROUP - B146

Growing in Christ is a journey that begins with a single step. The STRIDE group focuses on walking with God in first steps or anywhere along the way in spiritual maturity. We are any age, single, married, starting for the first time or starting again...all are welcome and wanted. The STRIDE group is studying the Young Adult Bible Studies for Life curriculum, encouraging us to integrate our walk with God into real-life issues.

This class is designed for young adults - post high school through late 20's.  Discipling young adults through a study of the Bible. 

We study a book of the Bible, chapter by chapter, verse by verse and let the Bible interpret the Bible. Join us for an in-depth study.

Our purpose is to bring ourselves into a closer walk with Christ so that our lives will increasingly reflect and conform to His example and objectives through a book-by-book approach of studying the Word of God.

With a focus on Biblical application for life, our class uses a variety of Bible centered curriculum, activities, fellowship, and prayer to build relationship with God and strengthen our faith. We aim to grow together through Bible study, discussion, and a focused, real-world application to our lives in and out of church.

SOJOURNERS - B152

As we are pilgrims in a strange land, our group focuses on studying the Bible and applying it to our daily walk.

Our base curriculum is the Lifeway “Bible Studies For Life”,  with a supplemental handout of questions, lesson summaries and occasionally focus topics. Class format is open discussion led by questions on the handout.
